Just a few days ago, my good friend and investor with no name, with whom we are live broadcasts and investing together threw off the screenshot, where his LHV share made 200% with the words: “Look, my first 200%”. Before I had time to be glad for a good friend of his success, when on 04/08/21 one other interesting thing happened with my portfolio.
The ones who signed up for me closed group know that I decided to buy shares in Robinhood. The IPO was very controversial, paradoxically Fuad Rasulov, an expert and trader, wrote an article for Delovye Vedomosti about how why Robinhood didn't fire. As if to spite him, he just fired a shot! 🙂
Fuad wrote about the many intricacies of why it happened that after the release of the IPO, the most beloved service of the entire reddit community did not fire. There were many reasons: a risky business model, an angry reddit community (when Robinhood blocked AMC and Game Stop stock trading).
At this very moment in the IPO, Robinhood's share price sank by Present in several = 10% and I managed to pick it up at $34,94. I bought a little, only 5 shares.
I issued the order on 29/07/21. Today, August 4, 2021, I had the following number in my Revolut portfolio.
Actually hello my first Present in several = 106,41% only 5 days 🙂! A historic event, I would say.
Why did Robinhood take off today?
Everything is simple. Famous Investor Cathie Wood invested $65 million in Robinhood, which caused an incredible stir among retail investors from reddit and they ran like with the stock meme: AMC and GME to buy HOOD shares :).
Will I sell shares in Robinhood?
No. And not because I'm greedy, judge for yourself, in the wave of popularity of GME and AMC, the shares of companies soared by 1500%. All proofs are listed below 🙂
