Hi all! Emotional Intelligent is in touch with his retirement money :). I wrote earlier that I made a very reckless act - I decided to take all my pension savings and start investing on my own. Previous article on this topic by link here.
The decision has been made. The money has not been received, but we must act now. For these purposes, I have already opened a company and an account with LHV Bank. To my surprise, today all the processes took only 15 minutes! I submitted an application, opened a bank account, all without leaving my office. Estonia - I love you! About five years ago, you still had to drag your mortal bodies to the office and there were a lot of dances with tambourines and the translation of stardikonto into a regular account. Today everything is amazingly simple!
By the way, why would I invest through a firm?
I will do a lot of transactions, I would not want to burden the tax return at the end of the year. Plus, in the company I will not have to take and pay a huge income tax in one day. The money can stay with the company, but I can buy my cars and yachts through the company :)!
LHV has so far opened a securities account on the Baltic Exchange in order to start buying one good trump card :). It is easy to issue, in two clicks and it is already open.
In order to start trading, the company still needs a special LEI code. This pleasure costs 55 euros per year. The cheapest I found was on Bloomberg. You can buy here. I received the code the very next day.
Now there are two most important things to do. Of course, wait for retirement money. And also start compiling my ideal portfolio where I will invest my retirement savings. I don't plan to keep all my eggs in one basket. So far, I have not yet “fixed” the portfolio distribution, but I believe it will not differ much from approximately such diagrams.
It is important to diversify risks. I will make several bets on individual sectors, and I will definitely take a few single copies.
Next on the agenda is opening Interactive Brokers for the firm and building my ideal portfolio. This will be discussed in the next article.
